After driving all over town to find a place to eat and making no decisions we decide to try the pizza place that everyone talks about but we've never tried. The restaurant is dark but once your eyes adjust it's just right, the restaurant is small so the tables are a little cozy but the place looks great and you forget that your in a strip mall restaurant when you sit down. Atmosphere: A+. As do alot of the italian restaurants lately they start you off with bread and olive oil and seasonings. The bread that was fresh was very good, some was stale and took some work to even bite through, their EVOO was very good, fresh, and seasonings excellent. We decided to split a pizza so we started off with fried mozzerella appetizer. The cheese was excellent as was the red sauce it sat in. We were hopeful this would be the same sauce they used on the pizza as it was very tasty but not overpowering. The pizza was delicious and if you are a fan of thin crust than you'll absolutely love this pizza. Extremely well balanced, we had pepperoni and italian sausage and nothing took away from anything else the flavors just added to each other, delicious!

Just ate there tonight ! First off we were sitting at the bar waiting on our table ....Ordered a Bacardi & coke....NO BACARDI.....Ok....at $10.00 per drink I would be sure as not to run out of a popular liquor brand, but oh well....... We get our table (party of nine) ..... Place our order, food & beverages come in a timely manner .....Wait as we begin to enjoy the beverages there is a big black bug floating in a childs drink ! Two seconds later, we find a seed in an ice cube in yet another drink. I ask to have a manager stop buy the table, watier very nice, and says he will do.... This is before our food is dilevered to us ........Waiter stops half way through the meal & assures us the Manger is going to stop by ! .......Meal is completly finished & the Manager comes out in a T-Shirt says "what do you need ?"
I start to tell him, the several items we felt were issues......He stops me & says "I guess you have a list ?"

This manager was arrogant and seemed to scoff at what we had to say. I recommended he check this ice machine, he scoffed at that as well. He offered us a new "coke" but since we were ready to leave, we declined. He half laughed as he walked away. Our bill for pizza and drinks was over $126.00

We have visited this restaurant,on average 6 + times per year, for he past 5 years. We own property on Anna Marie Island, and vacation here regularly. We have always brought our family to this restaurant because of the atmosphere, excellent bar and good service. We will NOT VISIT again. And we will tell everyone we know about our distasteful experience.

We are considering contacting the health department to check this restaurant's ice making facility as well as their kitchen.
